This well-established energy provider in the Pittsburgh area is looking for a Security Engineer to bolster their team.

They have an existing squad of security engineers, and they want someone well-rounded to come in and help them handle general blue team responsibilities.

If you are looking for a generalist role that is a balance between getting your hands on a little bit of everything without being stretched too thin, this might be the role for you

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of professional cyber security experience which includes strong defensive security skills.

Candidates are required to be knowledgeable with incident response and remediation,
IAM, network security, threat hunting, and data loss prevention.

These will be the main responsibilities of the role.

This is a full-time role that will be fully on-site in the office in Canonsburg PA.

Required Skills & Experience
At least 3 years of professional experience in cyber security
Strong skill in defensive security

Incident response/SIEM
Vulnerability management

IAM
Network security (Palo Alto and Cisco)

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to come into an office 5 days per week

Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Relevant security certifications
