Sierra Medical Center is a 170-bed acute care hospital offering various services such as 24/7 ER care, cardiology, labor and delivery, NICU, surgical and orthopedic services.

    This NICU Registered Nurse role is on a per diem basis with a night shift schedule. We are seeking a dynamic NICU Registered Nurse to provide patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Nurses collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective patient care and maintain high nursing standards.

    Job duties/Responsibilities:
    - Educate and assist new mothers during the postpartum period
    - Care for infants and educate mothers about their needs
    - Develop and implement patient care plans based on nursing knowledge
    - Create goals and treatment plans that meet individual patient/family needs.

    Qualifications
    - ADN Nursing Degree required; BSN or MSN preferred
    - Current RN nursing license in good standing with the Nevada State licensing board
    - At least one year of post-graduate nursing experience in NICU
    - BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications required.
