    The Opportunity

    Responsible for the effective leadership of the Security Department on assigned shift.

    • Maintain adequate staffing levels, by interviewing, training, scheduling, evaluating, and consistent coaching of Security Associates.


    • Actively participate with Associates on assigned shift.


    •Prepare and requests reports on incidents involving Guests, Associates, and/or property, as needed.


    •Interact with Guests and Associates in a positive and professional manner.


    • Responsible to ensure protection of all assets on casino property.


    •Maintain working knowledge of Grand Casino's facilities, as well as special events on property, in order to advise Guests and fellow Associates of the same.


    •Understand Crisis Management Plan and COVID-19 Guidelines

    What qualifies you


    •High School Diploma or GED required.


    •Three (3) years of experience in Loss Prevention, Security Management, Conservation Management, Gaming Regulatory Management, or Law Enforcement.


    •Three (3) years Gaming experience preferred.


    •Three (3) years Supervisory/Managerial experience required.


    •One (1) year investigation experience preferred.


    •Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).


    • Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR's).

    • Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
