    We seek a qualified Software Training Coordinator on-site at one of the following: Naval concentration centers: San Diego, CA; Norfolk, VA; Washington, DC.

    Active DoD SECRET security clearance and eligibility to achieve TS/SCI.

    Job Summary:

    This is an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Engagement and Training Coordinator?in the greater?San Diego, CA; Norfolk, VA; Washington, DC; area?to support the Department of Navy initiatives for Digital transformation, System-of-Systems Engineering (SoSE), DevSecOps, and the future of Digital warfighting. The Fleet Engagement and Training Coordinator will?coordinate with other technical competencies across the USN fleet to research, gather, draft, and present Fleet Engagement status with specific capabilities and applications.?The unique skill set in planning?and executing?engagement-related work and transitioning training products to Fleet users will be key.

    Position Description:

    • Liaison for planning and execution of Fleet engagements and software systems for Fleet introduction, assessment, and training
    • Ensure understanding of?Program of Record?engagement efforts and timelines and identify gaps in engagement support across the application portfolio
    • Establish a formal feedback loop to ensure engagement improvements and establish metrics
    • Build and refine a holistic training plan (System of Systems training plan), which identifies the training strategy and manning (instructor and operational billets) required to support and sustain capabilities
    • Coordinate within NAVWAR Enterprise to leverage existing engagement and training systems, labs, and efforts
    • Work closely with Fleet engagement and training stakeholders to analyze new capabilities being introduced and identify engagement gaps as well as planned mitigations
    • Work with FIT training leads and PMO engagement leads to stay aware of evolving plans and potential new capabilities

    Required Qualifications and Skills:

    • Must have and maintain an active DoD Secret; must be eligible for DoD TS/SCI Clearance
    • High School Diploma
    • 5-10 years of relevant experience with planning and executing Fleet Engagement and Training Events
    • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

    Desired Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering
    • Familiarity with NAVIFOR, Platform TYCOMs, and other Fleet Forces training entities
    • Experience with Navy Mission Planning / Battle Management applications
    • Familiarity and experience working with Navy radars, electro-optical and infrared sensors, guns, missiles, electronic warfare, and other warfare systems.

    Travel Requirements:

    • Potential travel of up to 25% to Naval facilities around the CONUS
