Monday - Friday
Supporting the delivery of the highest quality of patient care, you will work in our state-of-the-art facilities.
Your primary focus will be performing intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IOM), including somatosensory evoked potential, motor evoked potential and free-run EMG testing.
Responsibilities:
Act as a resource and provide guidance to Technician I & II as necessary to assure acquisition of appropriate data collection and positive patient outcomes.
Performs intraoperative somatosensory evoked potentials, motor evoked potentials and EMG monitoring, and works closely with anesthesiologist, surgeon, and monitoring neurologist.
Demonstrates knowledge of equipment maintenance and electrical safety.
Recommends completion of test procedure; respects patient's rights to refuse testing.
Selects and applies appropriate electrodes for stimulating and recording.
Prepares collected patient test data for interpretation by Medical Director at completion of test procedure or no later than in 24 hours as observed by a supervisor.
Participate in Strategic Improvement Process activities as appropriate and requested including committee membership.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelors preferred, Associates Required.
Minimum of 4 years of experience required.
CNIM Certification required.
The successful candidate must be comfortable with a flexible schedule and have excellent organization and communication skills.
