Job Summary
The Managing Director Nuclear Engineering is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of nuclear engineering and design for AEP's new nuclear development activities.This includes strategic planning budgeting staffing technical direction and ensuring compliance with safety regulatory and corporate standards. Additionally this role will lead efforts that contribute to the effective execution of projects and organizational development activities for advanced nuclear generation technologies.
- Develop and implement the technical vision and direction for the nuclear development engineering organization.
- Direct supervise engineering design activities ensuring alignment with project schedules budgets resource availability.
- Evaluate introduce appropriate new technologies vendor product applications develop system engineering design equipment standards to leverage cost performance objectives.
