    Job Description

    We are currently seeking a talented Senior Director of Software Engineering to join our team. This role offers a wide range of responsibilities that contribute to the continuous growth and development of the organization, from daily operations to stimulating projects and initiatives.

    As the Senior Director of Software Engineering, you will have a deep understanding of the company's business strategy and play a crucial role in developing the enterprise architecture strategy. In addition to leading the technical aspects of the engineering team to drive software development excellence, you will oversee administrative and career-related tasks within the software engineering teams. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with product management, project management, professional services, and business teams to ensure the successful execution, management, and delivery of software systems and applications. You will also be responsible for planning, coordinating, directing, and designing all operational activities of the IT department, providing vision and leadership for implementing information technology initiatives across all organizational areas.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation and prioritizing IT initiatives
    • Develop and maintain an effective IT organizational structure
    • Establish clear departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures
    • Identify investment opportunities for IT systems and resources
    • Stay updated on IT industry trends and issues
    • Supervise recruitment, development, and retention of IT staff
    • Develop a clear vision and objectives for the department
    • Implement strategies to enhance key daily processes
    • Contact stakeholders to define business requirements for new technology implementations
    • Ensure continuous delivery of IT services

    Position Requirements:

    Formal Education & Certification

    Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required

    Knowledge & Experience

    • Seven plus years of experience in solution and/or enterprise architecture
    • Strong leadership skills
    • Demonstrated ability to align technology strategy with business needs
    • Experience in leading Agile teams
    • Good understanding of software development lifecycle and RDBMS optimization techniques
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
