    Job Title: Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist

    Duration: 13 weeks

    Shift:

    • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
    • Tuesday, Thursday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

    Required Experience:

    • One year of experience, will consider new grads.

    Job Description:

    As an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing physical therapy treatment programs for referred patients. Your goal will be to restore function, prevent disability, reduce pain, and help patients return to their maximum functional capacity. You will adhere to department policies and ensure the highest level of respect and courtesy to all staff, patients, and visitors.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Utilize appropriate therapeutic assessment tools and document findings objectively.
    • Develop individualized treatment programs consistent with patient diagnosis, status, and goals.
    • Establish realistic and measurable goals in collaboration with patients and caregivers.
    • Complete evaluations and assessments according to departmental policies.
    • Implement treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
    • Provide appropriate leadership and supervision to support staff and interns.
    • Adhere to department safety standards and complete incident reports as required.
    • Counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans, home exercises, and proper body mechanics.
    • Stay updated with the latest treatment techniques through continuing education.

    Education Requirement:

    • Degree in physical therapy from an approved APTA school

    Required Certifications & Licensure:

    • Licensed to practice Physical Therapy
    • BLS (American Heart Association)
