    Pharmacy Technician II-Per Diem

    We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician II This position requires a California Registered Technician who will operate under Pharmacist Supervision. The primary responsibilities include packaging, preparation, and compounding of oral medications, intravenous medications, as well as chemotherapy/biohazard medications. Additionally, the role involves implementing and maintaining control procedures, conducting inventory management, and overseeing stock control.

    As a successful candidate, you will:?

    • Ensure compliance with USP 797 & 800 at all times.
    • Utilize proper aseptic technique for all pharmaceutical mixing.
    • Order, receive, and maintain accurate medication inventory.
    • Coordinate with Specialty Pharmacies or manufactures for timely deliveries of medications for infusion.
    • Performs routine daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning as required.
    • Procure and maintain supplies necessary for daily mixing operation.
    • Prescription order entry and process.
    • Coordination and submission of prior authorizations.
    • Determination of patients prescription benefits and seeks appropriate financial assistance when applicable.
    • Order, receive and maintain accurate medication inventory.
    • Assist with routing and release of prescriptions to the appropriate pharmacy
    • Properly label and fills prescription drugs.
