    Position: Full-Time, On-Site School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)

    Location: Forth Worth, Texas

    Type: Full-Time, On-Site

    Job Description:

    We are looking for a dedicated full-time Speech Language Pathologist holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) to be part of our team in Texas. The role involves providing crucial speech and language therapy services to a wide range of students, from standard education placements focusing on articulation and language to special education environments where some students utilize communication devices. Additionally, this position will involve overseeing a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).

    Responsibilities:

    • Assess and Evaluate: Evaluate speech and language disorders in elementary students.
    • Develop Therapy Plans: Create and implement personalized therapy plans.
    • Provide Therapy Services: Deliver therapy services to students individually and in groups.
    • Collaborate: Work closely with teachers, parents, and education experts to assist in achieving therapy objectives.
    • Monitor Progress: Track and adjust therapy sessions based on student advancement.
    • Supervise SLPA: Guide and supervise the tasks of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
    • Documentation: Maintain precise records of assessments, progress reports, and treatment schemes.
    • IEPs: Draft and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as required.
    • Progress Notes and Billing: Complete progress notes and handle Medicaid billing.
    • Parent Communication: Establish regular communication with parents.
    • Conduct Evaluations: Conduct assessments when necessary.
    • Team Participation: Engage in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

    Qualifications:

    • M.A./M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
    • Current Texas State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
    • Strong organizational and creative planning abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Familiarity with evidence-based speech and language therapy methods.
    • Experience working with AACs and communication devices.
    • Prior experience in supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant is beneficial.
