JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy and improve cutting edge products and services.
Work within a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems.
Conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle from analog and digital electronic circuit card assemblies to fully integrated systems.
Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps.
Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity.
Rarely lifting or carrying up to 20 lbs.
Rarely exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.)
Rarely exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials. Rarely exposed to loud noises

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a US Citizen
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline with 6 or more years of relevant experience
Experience Installing and calibrate strain gauges on various aircraft structures and components
Experience Installing and configure flight test instrumentation hardware and transducers
Programming experience of instrumentation systems using Das Studio on Curtiss Wright hardware
Understanding of flight test requirements and FAA compliance/regulations
Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues with instrumentation systems during flight tests
Experience maintaining documentation for instrumentation systems
Rapid Prototyping experience
Strong knowledge of strain gauge installation and calibration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to read and interpret schematics
Understanding of product lifecycle and component level
Prior background in Aerospace industry
