Description

Title: Athletic Trainer - Lockport Township High School

Location: Lockport, IL

Status: Full-time - 10-month

This role involves collaborating with the athletic director, coaches, physicians, and the Affiliate Director to establish strong relationships with affiliate and local physicians, providing top-notch care for all athletes. The position includes hands-on treatment, directing athletes to suitable resources, and utilizing effective written and verbal communication to integrate the sports medicine program seamlessly into the affiliate.

Responsibilities:

Work onsite at the affiliate, delivering comprehensive care to athletes, overseeing rehabilitation plans, and managing relationships with a positive approach.
Engage in ATI foundation activities, embody the ATI spirit, and build strong connections with athletes, coaches, and the community.
Collaborate with Physical Therapists and clinicians on athlete treatment during formal PT care.

Qualifications:

Demonstrate outstanding customer service, multitasking abilities, and a commitment to achieving work objectives.
Possess in-depth knowledge of Athletic Training and stay updated on industry trends.
Strong time management skills, keen attention to detail, and proficiency in documenting injuries.
Willingness to travel between affiliates, events, and clinics, work extra assignments, and be available on evenings and weekends.
Completion of a specialized curriculum accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education and current certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification and state licensure in good standing.
