Responsibilities- Assist in evaluating patient needs and developing appropriate treatment plans

Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for home programs
Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Stay uptodate with the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy techniques for treating pediatric conditions, sensory integration, feeding, and early intervention
Required SkillsExperience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred, but newer grads welcome to apply
Experience working with pediatric patients is highly preferred
Proficiency in documentation demonstrating medical necessity, efficient coding, and patient results

Qualifications:

Degree from an accredited OTA program
Valid NC licensure as a COTA
CPR certification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
