    Who We Are Looking For:
    The purpose of this position is to lead the development, implementation, administration and continuous improvement of programs and strategic initiatives relative to all aspects of

    Supplier Quality:

    Supplier Quality Vision/Mission, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Supplier Cost Analysis, Supplier Agreements or Contracts and Deployment of Strategy and Expectations in order to meet and/or exceed AGCO quality performance standards and customer's product quality expectations.

    Responsible for all associated programs and strategic initiatives to improve Supplier Quality; this includes the responsibility for increasing customer satisfaction, increasing product reliability, reducing associated costs and initiating and leading continuous improvements.

    The individual will initiate, develop, deploy, measure and audit goals, objectives and processes that address all operations areas approach to quality.

    This includes, but is not limited to leading all aspects of the Supplier Quality Rating System, APQP process and PPAP process and applicable AMPIP and NPI Processes.


    What You Will Do:

    • Assure that employees perform their duties in a safe manner according to safety rules, policies and procedures AND ensure that all operations areas are in compliance with specified safety rules, policies and procedures.
    • Lead the design, implementation, management, and continuous improvement of all supplier processes/programs and purchased parts associated with new product introductions, current production, part validation (PPAP), and field/warranty performance to assure deliverable, reliable, and quality parts, products, materials, etc.
    • Lead the supplier qualification, approval and maintenance processes and teams

    Including:

    Lead on/off-site audits focusing on quality systems and technical processes, lead technical reviews at part level to assess suppliers capabilities, and drive post audit corrective actions.


    • Lead PPAP and part qualification processes and process improvements for all new and revised parts and designs to help suppliers exceed fit, form, and function as well as reliability requirements. Define PPAP requirement levels, report PPAP status and Right First Time performance metrics, and proactively manage the on time completion of all PPAPs.
    • Lead systematic APQP activities to meet NPI timelines, deliverables and PPAP requirements and reporting.
    • Work with manufacturing assembly processes to understand and communicate manufacturing principles conducive to improve production efficiencies, such as DFM and DFA, to drive continuous quality improvements with supplier deliverables.
    • Proactively monitor, respond to, and resolve day-to-day issues associated with supplier problems, including but not limited to quality of product, quantity, delivery schedules, etc.
    • Monitor, report, and improve supplier KPI performance. Facilitate supplier evaluation and escalation meetings, teams, and follow-up activities as required to ensure the receipt of the right quantity of quality parts on time.
    • Lead NCR activities to develop and improve supplier performance (including quality, quantity, and on time delivery) and eliminate repeat failures. Report NCR status, insure effectiveness of corrective actions, and proactively manage the on time completion of all NCRs.
    • Champion problem solving and root cause analysis activities with purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, materials, suppliers and other associated key stakeholder for product, processes and material discrepancies and issues.
    • Drive cost reduction and cost recovery for issues caused by suppliers.
    • Reduce Supplier Warranty costs by analyzing and leading problem solving actions to eliminate supplier warranty failures.
    • Lead strategic business initiatives and programs relative to supplier quality and provide necessary support to all other quality business philosophies (ex. ISO registrations, certifications and re-certifications.)
    • Perform all other duties as necessary and instructed.

    What You Will Bring:

    • Four Year Bachelors Degree or applicable work experience
    • 3 years combined experience in Quality, Engineering, or Manufacturing
    • 5 years experience in structured problem solving. Must be able to analyze and distill problems down to the root cause through effective communication both internal and external.

    What Will Put You Ahead:

    • Certified Quality Engineer
    • Certified Quality Auditor
    • Familiarity with ISO or QS 9000
