    Job Summary :

    The Marketplace Sales Manager will be responsible for accurately and efficiently listing products for sale across various online platforms. This role involves meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a keen understanding of product descriptions and market trends. The Marketplace Sales Manager plays a vital role in presenting products in an appealing and marketable manner to drive sales and enhance the overall customer experience. You will play an integral part in the growth and success of our company's eCommerce platforms. You'll be instrumental in driving our e-commerce strategy forward, expanding our reach, and managing our brand on eBay, Amazon, and other online marketplaces. Ideal candidates will have specific experience with the eBay and Amazon marketplaces.

    Duties and Responsibilities :

    • Manage day-to-day operations of our products on e-commerce platforms including but not limited to inventory management, order processing, and listing creation.
    • Manage relationships with key marketplace contacts to address any issues effectively.
    • Create engaging and accurate product listings, including detailed descriptions, images, specifications, and pricing information
    • Be data-obsessed - monitor overall shop health, listing violations, and product launches via the company seller center to ensure the Crawl Space Repair store remains in good standing.
    • Uphold company and marketplace policies related to terms of service, compliance, and privacy, including monitoring overall account health & listing violations.
    • Monitor and analyze data to track performance, identify trends, and provide data-driven information to the company's management.
    • List items accurately and efficiently on our online marketplace storefronts.
    • Individually list products on E-Commerce Platforms (eBay, Amazon, etc.)
    • Managing all sales platforms, editing listings, and product images, and updating as necessary.
    • Keeping online inventory up to date
    • Communicating with the sales team daily.
    • Responding to customer service calls and emails
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather product information and ensure accurate representation on the various platforms
    • Maintain an organized database of product listings, ensuring easy access and retrieval of information for updates, edits, and additions
    • Regularly review and update product listings to reflect changes in inventory, pricing, or promotions
    • Ensure product listings meet company standards for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
    • Conduct regular audits of product listings to identify and correct any errors or discrepancies
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure product listings align with promotional campaigns and marketing strategies
    • Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to obtain necessary product information and resolve any listing-related issues
    • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
    • Manage new product uploads, category builds, product detail maintenance, and promotional activities.
    • Work closely with merchandising, operations, and customer service teams to improve efficiencies, trade, and customer experience.

    Required knowledge, skills, abilities, and qualifications :

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
    • Experience listing products is highly preferred.
    • Proven experience in product listing, e-commerce, or related roles.
    • Hands-on experience with an e-commerce platform. 2-3 years of experience working in e-commerce; brand, agency, or marketplace experience.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
    • Proficiency in using online platforms for product listing and management (e.g., e-commerce platforms, content management systems).
    • Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) principles to optimize product listings.
    • An understanding of e-commerce UX, content and development projects, and intuitive knowledge of how users interact and shop in a digital environment.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
    • Adaptability to changing priorities and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Basic knowledge of graphic design and image editing software is a plus.
