Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Academic Instructor to join our team Horizons Youth Services is seeking an experienced, energetic, dynamic, talented candidate for the full-time position of Academic Instructor Our positions represent great opportunities to grow with a progressive corporation that plants the seeds to success by providing growth and development services to our students and staff. Job Corps is a no-cost residential education and career technical training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps young people ages 16 to 24 improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training.
The Whitney M. Young Jr. Job Corps Center is operated by Horizons Youth Services on behalf of the U.S. Department of Labor.
Job Summary: The academic instructors' responsibilities include all aspects of instruction and the learning experience of the students. The instructor may also function concurrently as the program coordinator.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree required.
Certified to teach in the state of Kentucky.
Valid state driver's license required.
