• We are currently searching for a Property Manager to join a successful company and team

The Property Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring that financial goals are met and the property is operating smoothly and to the residents' satisfaction.

The ideal candidate must have experience managing at tax credit communities and excellent leadership abilities.

*Essential Functions Include:

• Manage the on-site team, maintaining the highest standards of resident service and relations.
• Interview and screen prospective residents/residents for certifications and re-certifications
• Complete residential lease administration using the company's software & forms
• Ensure that residents are provided with a clean, safe, well-maintained community.
• Maintain and submit accurate payroll records as required by the company.
• Collect delinquent rents and notify supervisor so they may approve to initiate unlawful detainer actions as appropriate.
• Perform move-in and move-out administration with particular attention to consistent apartment inspections.
• Ensure that maintenance requests are handled as quickly, efficiently and effectively as possible.

*Qualifications:

• Background in apartment leasing/property management, restaurants, hotels, airlines, retail, or a similar hospitality and customer service role required
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Effective written and oral communication
• Must possess a high degree of energy and enthusiasm
• Professional dress and demeanor

*Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma Required. College degree preferred.
• 1+ years of affordable housing/LIHTC/tax credit community experience
• 1+ years of management and supervisor experience
• Ability to empathize with residents and staff, while still enforcing community rules and policies
• Competence in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, math, Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Property management software applications (Yardi, RealPage, etc.)
• Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations.
• Basic computer skills
• Unit on the Property included with employment
