    Harvest Development Group, a national consulting firm for nonprofit organizations, is managing CCARCs Director of Development recruitment on behalf of the organization.

    OrganizationCCARC was originally founded in 1952 by a group of parents who gathered in their homes to support one another as they faced the challenges and rewards of raising a child with an intellectual or developmental disability.

    Today, CCARC is a private, nonprofit (501c3) organization offering an array of services to support adults with intellectual disabilities and their families.

    The successful candidate is a forward-thinking, and self-motivated individual who: Creates fund development strategies and executes upon the plan to achieve results Takes initiative to identify, develop, and implement operational plans for fundraising goals Manages multiple tasks and achieves milestones in a timely manner and dynamic environment Uses data to establish metrics and goals Possesses strong critical thinking skills Demonstrates leadership, communication, project management, and team building skills Develops processes and procedures and is committed to continuous performance improvement Possess in-depth knowledge of database management Fosters and welcomes working with diverse groups Manages projects both independently and within a team environment Collaborates with organizations leadership, and volunteersKey responsibilitiesDevelopmentCoordinates and manages all aspects and oversight of donor development, cultivation, and engagementUses data to establish metrics and quantitative insights on donor trends and forecasts Develops and maintains a prospect portfolio to optimize fundraising opportunitiesEvaluates processes and procedures and creates efficiencies to achieve and drive resultsProvides regular status reports and projections to the CEOCollaborates with and provides guidance to other departments within the organizationCreates and manages projects on limited resources and within budgetImplements and manages the Constituent Relationship Management software (Raisers Edge), ensure accurate and comprehensive data input and analysis, utilize data for donor cultivation, foundation and funders reportingEstablishes protocols to maintain donor confidentiality and data integrityPresents development, fundraising and marketing efforts and performance to the Board of Directors and Foundation Board of DirectorsOversees all components of Development and Fundraising and related activitiesDevelops and executes the annual fundraising plan in collaboration with staff and related committeesDonor Cultivation and EngagementMonitors and examines current donor engagement and patterns for trends and growth opportunitiesEngages and cultivates current donor relationshipsExamines current and changing member demographics and creates strategy for engagement and cultivationIdentifies new engagement opportunities to build donor pipelineProvides content for communications and social media in collaboration with Manager of CommunicationsEventsDevelops and implements annual fundraising events including sponsorship programs, logos, invitations, programs, entertainment, and overall theme/message to promote the work of CCARC and raise funds through sponsorships, raffle, auctions, and ticket salesCoordinates annual fundraising and special event activities, including annual golf tournamentSecures financial support from individuals and foundationsRepresents CCARC at eventsGrant Writing and AdministrationMeets with respective staff to identify service area needs and submit federal, state, and private grant proposals to the appropriate funding sourcesResearches and writes grant submissions and monitors awarded grants; submits grant reports to funders as requiredLeadership and Staff DevelopmentSupervises the Manager of CommunicationsProvides periodically and annual review of direct report(s)Marketing, Communications, Public RelationsOversees the Manager of Marketing and ensures agencys web and social media presence is currentDevelops and implements a publicity schedule to ensure that agencys news is generated to the media and CCARC constituents.

    Volunteer ManagementCoordinates and manages volunteer groups to provide an enriching experience while accomplishing projects benefiting CCARC and the individuals served (i.e., United Way Year of Caring)RequirementsBachelor's Degree in a related fieldMinimum five years of experience in fund developmentGrant writing and grant administrationDemonstrated fund development planning, execution, and growthDonor cultivation and stewardship experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteCRM experience and analysisAble to work evenings and weekends as neededPublic Relations preferredSupervisory experience preferredPhysical RequirementsOccasional lifting to at least twenty five poundsVision must be good or corrected to normal to perform normal job duties.

    Hearing must be good to have the ability to understand information to perform job duties.
    Ability to read and write in English in order to process paperwork and follow up on any actions necessary.
