    JOB PURPOSE:

    Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care forpatients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as
    operational issues during his/her shift. Providesclinical care as needed when census demands.
    Communicatespatient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to theappropriate leader(s). Serves
    as resource for guidanceand assistance to thestaff.

    Qualifications:


    MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:

    Graduate of a nursingprogram.

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:

    One (1) year of nursingexperience in a hospital settingrequired.

    MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONREQUIRED BY LAW:

    Current License in theState of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC MultistateLicense.
    BLS certification required.

    ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:

    Two (2) or more years ofnursing experience in a hospital settingpreferred.
    Bachelors degree preferred.
    Advancedcertification in field of specialty
