- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing plus five (5) years of clinical nursing practice experience.
- Three (3) years of experience as OR RN with knowledge of Pre/Intra/Post-op workflows and documentation best practices.
- Professional level experience working with clinical information systems and demonstrated ability to design/refine clinical system tools to optimize workflow functionality for end users.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and document gaps/errors in workflows and collaborate to resolve and proven success in information systems development and support within a large healthcare organization.
- Strong project management and time management skills with ability to adapt to changing priorities and a dedicated team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- EPIC OpTime Certification
- Demonstrated experience as a major participant in a clinical system implementation

*Job Scope/Summary: The incumbent will apply skills as a seasoned clinical applications professional to design, build, test, implement and maintain clinical application system for perioperative and procedural services. Collaborates with physicians, nurses and techs to design, maintain and refine Epic's Optime and Anesthesia modules to meet their needs through knowledge of surgical and procedural clinical processes, documentation needs, workflows, and clinical practice standards. Prepares detailed specs encompassing clinical processes, information flow, risks, and impact analyses. Develops strategies, policies and procedures for introducing, evaluating and optimizing clinical information technology and work redesign applied to clinical nursing practice. Serves as subject matter experts regarding workflows for Pre/Intra/Post-op workflows for OR and Procedure areas.
