    GHPC is seeking a research coordinator II (RC II) to join the already awesome team taking the GHPC to the next level of excellence and global achievements

    The center's current scope of work includes behavioral health, child health & well-being, community health systems development, health & health care financing, health in all policies, health systems transformation, long-term services & support, population & global health, and rural health. The center conducts, analyzes, and disseminates qualitative and quantitative research to connect decision-makers with the objective research and guidance needed to make informed decisions about health policy and programs. The center is at work locally, nationally, and internationally with public and private partners to improve health and well-being.

    ABOUT THIS POSITION

    The RC II is a member of a school-based mental health initiative that is finishing up its 9 th project year. The RC II provides administrative, research, and project support.

    HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
    • Assisting in the preparation of Institutional Review Board applications.
    • Attend meetings and represent the GHPC at conferences and national meetings.
    • Serving as a mentor to students and RA Is.
    • Assists with coordination and logistics of scheduling meetings both virtually and in person
    • Monitors two non-person inboxes and sends emails with requested information.
    • Organizes, monitors, and updates email templates.
    • Sends monthly emails to behavioral health service providers for data collection.
    • Monitors data for quality control and follows up with service providers that need additional support.
    • Organizes and monitors contact lists.
    • Downloads survey data to generate reports.
    • Updates and monitors project dashboard as new information becomes available (at least once a month)
    • Assists with monthly events by providing technical and logistical support, creating and sending event invitations, monitoring invitations, and sending follow-ups after the event.
    • Updates internal team manuals (for both program evaluation and technical assistance)
    • Helps update and maintain provider website.
    • Creates and distributes quarterly project newsletter.
    • Creates social media content/posts for the project.
    • Develops infographics and other products for dissemination.
    • Provides project and research support in the area of school-based mental health, including literature reviews and research database construction.
    • Participates in and creates agendas for project team meetings.
    • Assists with project promotion and dissemination activities, such as policy briefs and conference proposals/presentations.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES TO MAKE YOU SHINE
    • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
    • Effective oral and written communication skills
    • Effective organizational and time management skills
    • Group facilitation skills
    • Previous experience as a program coordinator or research coordinator
    • Demonstrated participatory and team-oriented style of interaction
    • Knowledge of automated systems and software (spreadsheets, word processors, presentations, graphic design, virtual meeting platforms, computers, and databases)
    • Knowledge of general mental health concepts and/or school-based mental health concepts
    • Ability to multitask, pay attention to detail, and problem-solve
    • Ability to support multiple team members as well as external partners
    • Understanding of project management principles
    • General knowledge of statistics and data analysis
    • Knowledge of computer software packages, including Microsoft
    • Strong writing and data reporting skills
    ***This is a regular, full-time position which involves on-campus and online duties, with job continuation dependent upon grant funding.

    Qualifications:
    • Minimum Hiring Qualifications:

      Master's degree in assigned research area; or a combination of education and related experience.
    Preferred Hiring Qualifications:
    • Experience working with varied stakeholder groups, strong written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required. Knowledge of SAS, SPSS, Stata, or other statistical software is preferred. General qualitative and quantitative research experience demonstrated.
