    Description

    Job Description

    Summary: Responsible for overseeing the weekly payroll process for Heibar in Colorado and Utah, ensuring accurate and timely payments to all employees. This role involves setting up new hires in Workday efficiently. Typically requires 20-25 hours per week.

    • Review and verify time entries in Workday to ensure completeness and proper PTO usage
    • Monitor attendance records to maintain updated information
    • Gather bonus details and input into payroll spreadsheets
    • Approve and process weekly payroll, and transmit bonus data to corporate payroll
    • Verify payroll accuracy, make adjustments as needed
    • Collaborate with HR Manager on maintaining payroll integrity, including updates for new hires, terminations, and rate changes
    • Address Team Members' inquiries regarding payroll matters
    • Assist new hires with Workday setup and other profile tasks
    • Prepare weekly headcount reports and submit temporary worker hours to agencies
    • Support special HR projects and perform other assigned duties

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent required
    • Associate degree in business or bookkeeping preferred
    • Familiarity with Workday HRIS/Payroll systems preferred
    • 0-2 years of experience in computerized payroll processing or related HR functions
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Ability to handle confidential information with trustworthiness
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
    • Effective communication skills across all organizational levels
    • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus

    Physical Demands:

    • Required to operate office equipment like computers, phones, and printers
    • Communication via phone, email, and in-person interactions
    • Work mainly in an indoor office environment
    • Job involves sitting/standing
