We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Production Supervisor to manage our in-house First Shift team at our Corporate Headquarters in Brunswick.

In this Production Supervisor position, you will train, guide, and support all team members while ensuring production goals are met.
You will also be responsible to oversee safe and proper manufacturing of the company's products, troubleshoot issues, ensure the efficient day to day operations of the company, and coordinate a team of production employees to make sure that consistent and quality goods are constantly being produced.
Responsibilities include:
Implement lean management principles to oversee the production staff and allocate work force to achieve daily production goals.
Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to employees.
Make sure that the products and machinery are in line with regulatory standards.
Ensure all quality standards and deadlines are met.
Ensure all equipment and machinery is functional and in good working order.
Lead team members, track production metrics and communicate same to management.
Supervise staff with coaching and counseling including plan, monitor, and appraise teamwork performance, ensure training, enforce systems, policies, and procedures, while ensuring a productive, safe and pleasing work environment.
Facilitate daily shift meetings.Maintain production flow by communicating production status, requirements, and issues with management and other shifts.
Organize manufacturing floor and maintain efficient, safe work environment by adhering to organization policies and procedures.
Work in ERP systems to monitor, track and troubleshoot production print orders.
As part of a team, collaborate with Production Scheduler to ensure print orders are completed in a timely, cost effective, and efficient manner.
Qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience.
Proficient in MS Office with proven focus in Excel
3-5 years of progressive work experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to lead a team
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented
Exceptional organizational skills
Ability to multi-task
