    Description

    Position Overview: The Crane Operator will be responsible for operating various types of cranes and ensuring the safemovement of materials and equipment around the construction site


    Key Responsibilities:

    + Operate cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials.+ Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.+ Clean and maintain crane and hoisting mechanism.+ Inspect crane for safety issues on a daily basis.+ Determine the load weights and check them against lifting capacities to prevent overload.+ Work with ground signals or radio communication to ensure safe lifts.+ Follow project schedules and meet deadlines with efficiency.


    Qualifications:

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience in crane operation within the construction industry.+ Must hold a current crane operator's certification.+ Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures, including OSHA regulations.+ Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and load charts.


    Requirements:

    + High school diploma or equivalent.+ Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.+ Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.+ Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
