Requirements:
Experience
5-7 years of public accounting experienceTax experience with preparation and review of business and individual tax returnsExperience with QuickBooksAccounting and year-end close experience requiredExperience with SAGE 100 and/or Foundation Software a plusExperience working with small to medium size businesses'
A day in the life:
Manage a client base consisting of small to mid-market clientsPerform year-end accounting & tax engagements independently & efficientlyReviewing tax work papers and providing training and support to team membersAs an Accounting Manager you would assist with new and existing client opportunities and client advisory servicesConsistent high quality work product with attention to detailServe as a technical resource to the firm and its clientsManage own workflow, including proper delegation when appropriate to staff according to their experience and capabilities, and coordination with partners on all phases of the engagementWork independently with clients in their office to assist with month end/year end closing and accounting issuesProviding overall leadership, supervision, training, and performance feedback to staffReviewing the accounting working papers and determine that the engagement has been performed in accordance with professional standards and the terms of the arrangement letter
License:
An active CPA license is required
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
