    Description

    An international automotive parts manufacturing company is currently searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their facility Tipp City, Ohio area. You will work within cross functional teams for the confirmation of manufacturability of products. Entry-level candidates and new graduates are welcome and encouraged to.

    This is a full-time/direct-hire position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with design engineers to improve manufacturing (feasibility, quality, cost efficiency)
    • Use forming software to conduct feasibility assessments on steel stampings
    • Use CAE software
    • Support (dimensional engineering, tooling, welding heat studies)
    • Support program development (milestones & reporting)
    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in a mechanical, manufacturing, or related engineering field
    • 1-3 years' work experience in technical manufacturing or product design environment
    • Familiarity with CAD (Computer Aided Design) software (CATIA is big plus
    • Knowledge of sheet metal stamping, tooling design, dies, hands-on troubleshooting & simulations
    • Strong communication skills, and positive mindset
    • Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch & lift up to 30 pounds
