- Inpatient census: Approximately 34 patients per day.
- Average number of admissions per day: 7-10 daytime, 4 nighttime.
- Approximately 175 surgical cases per month.
- No robotic or vascular surgery.
- No ICU/critical care duties or code response needed.
- Locum Tenens physicians won't be required to act as a backup in the ER.
- Board certification in Anesthesiology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Advanced Pediatric Life Support (APLS) certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Ability to independently administer anesthesia and handle pediatric anesthesia cases in healthy children.
- Comfortable with common surgical cases like General Surgery, ENT, Orthopedics, OB-Gyn, Optometry, Pediatric Dental, and Endoscopy (pediatrics > age 2).
- Must excel at teamwork and possess strong communication skills with colleagues and patients.
