- Requires two years of college or a completed AA program with an emphasis on chemistry, biology, physics, or related science or equivalent in education, training, and experience.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience genotyping is required.
- Strong communication skills, highly organized with great attention to detail.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks/projects at once and keeping up-to-date records on projects, invoices, orders, etc.
- Six months of experience in cell culture and genotyping is desirable, but not required.
- Laboratory experience outside of undergraduate laboratory coursework.

Position Summary
The Department of Ophthalmology is seeking a meticulous, dependable technician to join our growing team. The technician will assist the Principal Investigator (PI) and research scientists in executing the aims of funded grants and carrying out standard lab procedures and protocols. These projects will include molecular, cell biological, and tissue culture.
