Job summary
This is the heavy equipment operator level in the Road Maintenance Worker class series. The incumbent skillfully operates a variety of construction and maintenance equipment such as trucks, graders, loaders and snow removal equipment. They perform a variety of assignments in the maintenance, repair and construction of roads bridges landfill sites and drainage systems.Responsibilities
- Operates trucks hauling road fill base materials for projects;
- Plays sand on slick icy roads;
- Skillfully operates crawlers tractors loaders power booms chippers graders etc.
