    Duties


    • You will interface with a diverse team of scientists, engineers, technicians, and analysts in the execution of software engineering and development activities.
    • You will lead the resolution of software related technical problems and ensuring lessons learned are developed and disseminated.
    • You will representing Mine Counter Measure (MCM) Un-manned Surface Vehicle (USV) software integration (as needed) at the Program Executive Office (PEO), Program Office (PO), and NSWC PCD senior leadership levels.
    • You will provide technical oversight of MCM USV system software integration management, and sustainment to include: software requirements development, architecture, design, unit testing, configuration management, etc.
    • You will identify and correct areas of weaknesses and gaps in software processes and procedures and work with other engineers to continuously improve best practices.
    • You will serving as Software Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) for the MCM USV integration.
    • You will collaborate with Project Managers, SSEs, Fleet Stakeholders, ONI, ONR, Exploitation SMEs, Science and Technology Managers, Technical Warrant Holders, and System Design Managers to execute our engineering agent responsibilities.
    • You will conduct Quality Assurance for the program by reviewing project documentation and serving as quality oversight for integration testing.
    • You will support the trace of software related requirements (including cybersecurity) from high level documents down to the product level and be able to assist the project in designing tests to verify those requirements.
    • You will develop written correspondence, plans, briefs, reports, and documents and will communicate both orally and in writing, with all levels of the organization
