Job Description

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Research and Education Campus (REC) Operations Support to work in our REC Facility Operations department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls location with every other Friday off. You will support Facilities Operations for the REC via metrics development and tracking. You will assess overall key performance indicators (KPI) and find solutions to problems and opportunities. You will report directly to the Manager of REC Facility Operations. Responsibilities Include:

Maintain the REC Facilities Operations 5-year plan and risk register, and contribute to REC projects which include project integration, procurement, tracking project progress, and execution.
Support efforts to establish and maintain tenant use agreements (TUAs) across the REC and support activities to ensure compliance with radiological, environmental, and safety regulations.
Participate in assessments to support REC Operations and act as a liaison between the operations staff and performance assurance.
Collaborate with necessary stakeholders to help complete project milestones for REC projects and work tasks. Work with Facility Managers and CFRs to determine resources needed for projects.
Participate in readiness reviews and in facility commissioning and decommissioning activities.
Work with system engineering to write or give input to statements of work. Collaborate with facility operations, project managers, construction management, and other stakeholders to ensure project activities are conducted in a manner to minimize impact on operations, projects, and programs and provide solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Support the establishment or modification of TUAs for facilities across the REC.
Support the coordination with necessary stakeholders to ensure the REC TUAs are accurate and completed to support the needs of the facility and tenants.
Conduct periodic assessments to validate TUAs are being followed and TUAS reflect actual facility and tenant conditions.

Qualifications: Minimum Requirements:

PR0200: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience, advanced degree and 1 year of experience, or 10 years of relevant experience.
PR0300: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, advanced degree and 3 years of experience, or 13 years of relevant experience.
Relevant experience includes technical certificate, work experience in industrial maintenance/facilities operations, construction, or project management in lieu of degree.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

Salary Grades: PR $64,272 - $102,840) / PR $83,412 - $137,592)
