Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Quality Specialist to join our team at {company}. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining data quality rules across the trade life cycle in Markets data.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in data-focused initiatives, including Pre-Trade/Post-Trade activities such as RFQ, Order/Executions, Trades, MTM, Positions, etc. They should also possess strong SQL skills, with experience working with Tableau being a plus.

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will have excellent stakeholder management and team leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results quickly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, implement, and maintain data quality rules covering the trade life cycle across Markets data
Analyze data quality exceptions to identify root cause and business impact for data quality issues raised
Enhance data quality process automation, governance, and reporting
Prepare and present written and verbal updates to senior management
Ensure adherence to best practices supporting Client's Program, Project, and Data Management Standards

Required Skills:

8+ years of experience in data-focused initiatives across Pre-Trade/Post-Trade activities such as RFQ, Order/Executions, Trades, MTM, Positions, etc.
Ability to write SQL queries and review stored procedures
Experience with working with Tableau (plus)
Exposure to Capital Markets (beneficial)
Experience working with Database, Reporting/Analytics
Experience in FIX, XML messaging (plus)
Experience in Issue tracking and governance with systems like JIRA / HPQC (plus)
Proven stakeholder management and team leadership skills
Data and Results oriented with excellent attention to detail
Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage competing priorities while delivering results quickly and efficiently
Exceptional level of motivation and diligence coupled with excellent communication skills (verbal and written), as well as strong relationship building skills
