Maintenance/ Custodian Helper - Kansas City, United States - Available Positions

Description

Responsible for the effective, efficient and safe maintenance, renovation and upkeep of parish and/or school buildings and grounds.

Performs cleaning, facility set-up, hauling and moving equipment, watering grounds, ice and snow removal, and other simple building and grounds maintenance duties for the parish and/or school.

Cleaning duties include mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning bathrooms, washing windows, and trash removal.

Provides routine maintenance for the parish or school building and grounds, including semi-skilled carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and other minor repair work.

Requirements

Previous experience working in a school or church environment is a plus. Experience with maintenance and janitorial experience is a must. The ability to work without direction, see issues on the campus, and report them so they can be fixed. This job requires the ability to work around kids.
