    *Job Summary :
    • U.S. Medical Staffing is seeking a reliable Registered Nurse (RN) for a student near the Setauket area. Spanish speaking nurse preferred but not required. This position is on a 1:1 Basis. Nurse would meet at students house, ride the bus with the student to school, assist the student throughout the day, and ride the bus back. This case is Monday - Friday 8:15am - 2:15pm Starts June 10th till June 26th. the Summer program Runs Same time July 8th to August 16th and picks back up in September. Student has Cerebral Palsy requires daily meds
    *Job Responsibilities are but not limited to :
    • Nurse would be responsible for professional medical treatment of students.
    • Maintaining clinical records.
    • Dispensing prescriptions medications to students per physician instructions.
    • Documenting all Medication given to students.
    • Working Diligently along side the other nurses to run a smooth office.
    • Providing emergency aid to students and school staff
    • Educating students on hygiene and safety practices
    • Contacting parents when needed
    *Job Requirements:
    • Current NYS Registered Nurse
    • NYS Registered Nurse Nursing Registration
    • Experience wit Insulin and Diabetics
    • Experience with Seizure students and Medication
    • BCLS or ACLS -The American Heart Association
    • Physical (WITHIN ONE YEAR)
    • PPD, Chest X-Ray or QuantiFERON Gold TB blood results
    • MMR/Titers Lab Report
    • Two forms for government ID's
    • Fingerprinted by the DOE
