- Promote intergenerational relationships
- Lead, organize, and develop the weekly ministry to middle and high school students
- Recruit, lead, and develop Youth/Young adult ministry volunteers
- Lead and organize events, retreats, small groups, and other various ministry related events
- Coordinate with Children's Ministry Director and Senior Pastor
- Continue education (if desired) to become a pastor
- Participate in staff life by attending meetings and staff events as required
- Support and serve at church-wide initiatives and other events as required
- Participate in the preaching rotation and the administration of the Sacraments
- Perform shepherding visits, weddings, and funerals as needed

The Youth/Young Adult Director at First Presbyterian Church is responsible for leading anddeveloping a team of volunteers who reach, teach and care for students in 6th-12th grades, and college aged students. Salary will be commensurate based on experience.
