    Job Title: Machinist/CNC machinist/Machine operator(1st/2nd shifts)


    Job Description:

    In this role, you will maintain tooling equipment and ensure cleanliness of assigned work areas, while following safety rules and regulations.

    Report any unsafe conditions to supervision promptly and use all required safety equipment provided by the company. You should also be able to lift, hold, and carry up to 40 pounds unaided.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Machine propellers and CP blades utilizing equipment like saws, horizontal and vertical boring mills, key seater, lathes, and measuring devices
    • Use appropriate methods to hold and fixture work, ensuring proper alignment and avoiding tool and part damage
    • Follow machining dimensions meticulously, maintaining tight tolerances and critical dimensions
    • Layout work as necessary, select speeds and feeds based on material type and finish requirements
    • Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments to validate form, features, and manufacturing methods against blueprint specifications

    Basic Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Knowledge of machining methods and cutting qualities of metals and tools
    • Eligibility to obtain and maintain security clearance, requiring US Citizenship

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Ability to operate various cranes, material handling equipment, and machining tools
    • Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints
