Job Summary:
Powder Operator 1 performs advanced production processes in either Melt, Mill, or Powder Handling.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Required:
  • Fully trained in Melt, Mill, or Powder Handling.
  • Operates job specific Material Handling equipment.
  • Able to Train in Melt, Mill, Or Powder Handling.
  • Is proficient with Epicor
  • Maintains housekeeping standards.
  • Maintains Autonomous Maintenance Standards
  • Follow all safety and quality standards.
• Ensure cleanliness of work area.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.

• Ability to read and interpret part prints.

• Basic troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• Works in a clean, well-lit production environment; requires protective footwear and eyewear.
• Regularly stands on cement floors with rubber mats; may involve sitting, stooping, bending, and walking.
• Capable of lifting and transporting an average weight of 10 lbs., up to a maximum of 40 lbs.
• Requires manual dexterity and near visual acuity.
• Ability to understand verbal instructions and comply with quality and safety regulations.

2nd shift - Monday through Thursday 3:00 p.m. - 1:30 a.m.
