    Pay: $43.19-$54.87/hour

    The successfulcandidate should be able to perform ALL of the following functionsat a pace and level of performance consistent with the actual jobperformance requirements.

    Apply appropriate nursing skills in the area andtreatment ofinmates/residents.Attend sick call with the physician to seeinmates/residents; prepare a list of inmates/residents to beexamined; prepare examining room andequipment
  • Examine and assess newinmates/residents with illnesses or injuries or inmates/residentswho become ill or injured; refer inmates/residents to the emergencyroom or other appropriate healthcare facilities as required bytheir condition.
    • Perform emergency procedures as needed and notifyLicensed Independent Provider for treatmentorders.
  • Provide guidance,supervise and monitor nursing care provided by licensedvocational/practical nursing staff and non-licensed medicalstaff.

    • Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accreditedcollege, university or nursing program with a degree/diploma innursing.
  • Must possess current licensure in the state ofemployment.
  • One(1) year of professional nursing experiencepreferred.
  • Avalid driver's license isrequired.
  • Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years ofage.
