    Project Engineer I

    Salary Range:
    $30-$35/Hr


    SUMMARY:
    As a Project Engineer, your role is essential in driving construction projects to successful completion
    With a hands-on approach, you will be actively involved in both fieldwork and office tasks, ensuring project efficiency and adherence to specifications
    Your responsibilities include reacting swiftly to issues, providing on-site training, managing front-line workers, innovating solutions, and collaborating with project managers and subcontractors to ensure necessary resources are available to keep the project on schedule
    You will also play a crucial role in human resource management, creating schedules, assisting with invoicing, submitting documents to clients, forecasting project resource needs, and conducting quality control over technical team work
    Collaboration with other organizational managers is essential to facilitate project success and the smooth execution of technical tasks on-site


    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    ' Maximize project efficiency and profitability
    ' Determine project specifications and acquire the necessary materials for completion
    ' Develop scope and parameters for project design and implementation
    ' Identify project responsibilities and delegate phases and elements to the appropriate personnel
    ' Assist in development and control measures for project-plan lifecycle

    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
    ' Assist the Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager in establishing project objectives, procedures, data collection methods, and performance standards within corporate policy boundaries
    ' Prepare scheduled updates of activities and analyze manpower and equipment requirements
    ' Create and administer appropriate testing protocols to monitor project performance
    ' Promptly inform supervisors and subcontractors of any schedule changes, working closely with project teams to ensure requirements are met
    ' Familiarize with budgetary, scheduling, and project requirements to provide regular reports to the project manager, keeping them informed of job progress, plans, and potential issues that could impact costs or schedules significantly
    ' Manage compliance, quality control, and quality assurance standards and specifications


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    ' Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Engineering or a related field from a four-year college or university
    ' Computer skills required:
    Working knowledge of MS Office programs
    ' Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    ' Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    ' Good troubleshooting skills


    PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    ' Occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
    ' Frequently required to use hand and finger dexterity for typing and handling documents
    ' Occasionally required to bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl
    ' Occasionally required to lift and carry project materials or equipment
    ' The work environment is typically an office setting or physical job site trailer

    Project Engineer II:

    Salary Range:
    $60-80k/Yr


    SUMMARY:
    As a Project Engineer II, you will take on increased responsibilities and play a vital role in driving construction projects to successful completion
    Building upon the foundation of a Project Engineer I, you will demonstrate advanced skills, knowledge, and leadership abilities in managing and executing complex projects
    Your role will involve overseeing multiple aspects of project planning, implementation, and control, while also providing guidance and support to junior team members
    By leveraging your expertise, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills, you will contribute to maximizing project efficiency, profitability, and client satisfaction


    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    ' Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgets
    ' Collaborate with project stakeholders to establish project objectives, develop comprehensive project plans, and define deliverables and milestones
    ' Conduct in-depth analysis of project requirements, identify potential risks and challenges, and develop proactive mitigation strategies
    ' Manage project resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal utilization and cost efficiency
    ' Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members, assisting with problem resolution, interpretation of drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
    ' Foster strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, acting as a point of contact and addressing their concerns and requirements throughout the project lifecycle
    ' Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track
    ' Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality control, identify potential safety hazards, and enforce adherence to project specifications and safety protocols
    ' Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, change orders, and progress updates, and ensure accurate and timely submission to clients and stakeholders
    ' Mentor and provide guidance to junior project engineers, supporting their professional development and fostering a collaborative team environment
    ' Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    ' Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Engineering or a related field from a four-year college or university
    ' Proven experience in successfully managing and executing construction projects, preferably in a similar industry or field
    ' Strong knowledge of project management principles, techniques, and best practices
    ' Proficiency in using project management software and tools for planning, scheduling, and tracking project activities
    ' Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to anticipate and address project-related challenges effectively
    ' Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build positive working relationships
    ' Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control and compliance
    ' Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
