Middle School Social Worker:

AnthroMed Education is a local provider of Special Education services, including Social Work that supports the needs of pre-K-12th grade schools throughout the Greater Chicagoland area. We are immediately seeking to add a full-time Social Worker to our team in Elgin, IL for the school year. For this role, the Social Worker will provide essential support and services to a caseload of Middle School students who are facing various emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide services to a caseload of Middle School students.
Work with students both individually and in group settings.
Effectively evaluate, update, and communicate the needs of each student.
Participate in IEPs and all other required meetings to benefit the students' success.
Ability to handle crisis situations.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Master's (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work
Illinois PEL with an endorsement in Social Work
