As an Associate Attorney at Bruning & Associates, PC, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of general civil litigation cases, including complex disputes, trials, and appeals. Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a diverse caseload of general civil litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and case preparation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and represent clients in court hearings and trials.
• Collaborate closely with your assigned paralegal for efficient case management.
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel to negotiate settlements and resolutions.
• Stay current with changes in laws and regulations that may impact cases.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar in Illinois.
• 0-5 years of experience in general civil litigation is preferred, but motivated recent graduates will be considered.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
