Position Overview:
The Project Manager is primarily responsible for revenue conversion through optimal asset allocation and utilization.
The Project Manager will process all sales orders and, at times, assist designers in pricing customizations and other questions regarding permitting or operations.
The Project Manager will guide the order through confirmation, permitting, scheduling, manufacturing, installation, and collecting final payments throughout the project.
Primary Job Roles:
Identify and resolve logistics-related issues and challenges that may arise during the transportation and delivery. This involves troubleshooting problems, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future issues.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements within the logistics function.
Coordinate with various departments (sales, operations, and accounting) to gather information and ensure seamless operations.
Determine optimal allocation of resources (vehicles, equipment, personnel) based on project requirements and constraints.
Coordinate with internal teams to schedule and assign drivers and field personnel tasks.
Monitor and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes or unforeseen circumstances.
Ensure that appropriate resources are available and dispatched promptly to meet customer needs.
Collaborate with Senior Leadership to resolve any conflicts, delays, or other issues impacting logistics operations.
Maintain effective communication channels to keep all relevant parties informed about the status of dispatches, including any delays or changes.
Confirm orders and payment schedules with customers on the same day next day basis from the Designer close; preference is the warm handoff from the Designer.
Determine permitting/HOA requirements and create a plan for getting the permit/HOA approval.Enter the order into accounting software.
Schedule the install date according to lead time standards and get customer confirmation.
Work with the factory to ensure the installation schedule is achieved.
Responsible for collecting all payments according to the schedule, only allowing the next step in the process to proceed if the payment schedule is met.
Communicate directly with the customer thru phone calls, emails, and text messages on the status of their delivery.Maintain the shed and cabin CRM database on the status of each order.
Daily participation in "Daily Huddle", in person or remotely.

Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
3-5 years of experience working as a dispatcher or in logistics environment preferred
