    Description

    Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Ortho Neuro Trauma

    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Ortho/Neuro/Trauma Unit at ChristianaCare's Newark Campus. This unit is a surgical inpatient care setting where patients receive treatment for complex fractures and traumatic brain injuries.

    About the Unit:

    The Ortho Neuro Trauma unit is a 35-bed semi-private and private room unit, equipped with a gym for physical therapy directly on the unit. Our patient population is primarily adult males and females with a wide range of individual and special needs.

    Requirements:

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • Registered Nursing License: Current RN license required.
    • Nursing Degree: Associate Degree in Nursing with a commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire date.
    • Experience: At least one year of relevant experience required.
    • Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred.

    Work Schedule:

    This is a full-time flex rotating schedule position, requiring 72 hours per pay period. Shift combinations include 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. - 7 a.m., with weekend and holiday expectations per departmental requirements.
