- Troubleshooting and diagnosing dies in and out of the press to resolve any quality or die concerns.
- Perform unscheduled and scheduled preventative maintenance on tooling and dies.
- Utilize CNC and manual Mills, WEDM machines to produce die details for tooling repairs and new die builds.
- Read prints, setup to manufacture dies. Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing programs
- 2 year degree from accredited technical college or post-secondary school with emphasis in Tool and Die or minimum of 5 years on the job training in this respected field
- Experience with surface grinders, vertical and horizontal mills, lathes, radial arm drill press, heat treating processes, Tig welding and large overhead cranes. CNC, WEDM programming
