Leidos' Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking a PCBA Soldering Technician-2nd shift to join our team that produce a variety of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA's).

Primary Responsibilities
- This position involves hand soldering of surface mount and through-hole components on low, medium and high density printed circuit boards (PCBs)
- Soldering/working under a microscope
- Applicants must be able to perform rework of various electronic packages including resistors, capacitors, through-hole parts
- Work to achieve day-to-day objectives and have significant impact on the work output.
- Work independently under limited supervision
- Work in team environment and interacting with different functions, project teams and productions teams.
- Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the area.
- This is a 2nd shift position
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED and less than 1-3 years of prior relevant work experience
- Experience soldering under a microscope
- Ability to solder surface mount and through-hole components
- Ability to read drawings and follow work instructions.
- Must be a US Citizen and possess or meet the eligibility to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance.
- This is a 2nd shift position
Preferred Qualifications
- Current or prior certification in IPC-A-610
- Current or prior certification in J-STD-001

Pay Range:
Pay Range $40, $72,850.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
