Job DescriptionHome Care Assistant
Bristol Elder Services, Inc., located in Fall River, MA, is a private, non-profit agency that provides community-based support services. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay.
Position Summary: This position is responsible for receiving calls about Home Care clients and their services, providing follow up to calls, taking messages, routing calls, and for performing a variety of office support tasks.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
Principal Accountabilities:
Assures that callers are greeted in a friendly manner and on a timely basis:
Supports home care staff by performing a variety of tasks:
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: One year of telephone answering and general office experience.
Special Skills/Knowledge: Pleasant telephone manner and basic telephone etiquette. Excellent oral and written communications skills, ability to effectively relate to a wide variety of personalities, basic computer skills, organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task and work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, high volume work environment. Ability to speak Portuguese helpful. Driver's license and reliable transportation required.
