    Part-Time Nurse Practitioner
    Privately-owned Allergy and Asthma practice is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a part-time basis The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The position offers flexibility and an opportunity to make a positive impact on patients' lives while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We are unique and provide personal patient care, building relationships and trust with our patients.
    Responsibilities:
    • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations and diagnostic evaluation
    • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare providers
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as allergy testing, lab work and spirometry
    • Administer and supervise allergy immunotherapy (allergy injections)
    • Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice and in accordance with state regulations
    • Provide patient education on health promotion, and prevention and management of allergic and atopic conditions
    • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in electronic health record systems
    • Collaborate with a multi-level team to provide compassionate care for pediatric and adult patients.

    Qualifications:
    • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
    • Current certification and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Missouri
    • Certification to see both children and adult patients
    • Prior clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred but not required
    • Excellent clinical assessment and interpersonal skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
    • Proficiency in electronic health record systems and other healthcare technology
    • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
    • Ability to build rapport with both pediatric and adult patients
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including Saturday mornings and occasional later weekday hours (till 6 pm)
