- Must be comfortable with face-to-face tutoring - No virtual assignments available.
- Tutors must be proficient in English Language Arts courses - American Lit, World Lit, British Lit, and the accompanying topics.
- Tutors should be equipped to assist students with homework help as well as closing skills gaps.
- Tutors must have at least 2 years of work experience with tutoring or teaching in the subject area(s).
- Tutors must be enthusiastic have an engaging presentation and enjoy working with and being a role models for students.
- Tutors should be available during the day or late afternoon/early evening for their assignments.
- Tutors must have reliable transportation.
- Tutors must submit to a mandatory background check.
- Possessing any of the following is a PLUS:
- A Georgia Teaching Certificate
- A bachelor's degree
- Bi-lingual tutoring experience (Spanish).
