    ASI offered a different option in which people could live independently in their own accessible, affordable cooperative homes or apartments and draw on supportive services as needed.

    ASI's unique model enabled consumers to share service hours so supportive assistance would be available 24/7/365.Today the need for supportive housing and assisted living options continues to grow.

    Accessible Space's initial five cooperative homes provided housing for 30 consumers in Minnesota.

    Now ASI is a nationwide organization with 136 buildings in 26 states and has developed additional buildings in 31 statesJob DescriptionAccessible Space, Inc., a nonprofit provider of housing and personal care services for adults with disabilities is seeking a full time Quality and Compliance Specialist to join our teamThe Quality and Compliance Specialist provides administrative support to the Services staff in maintaining regulatory compliance, improving processes, and enhancing the quality of services provided to residents by completing projects related to compliance and quality improvement.

    To Quality and Compliance Specialist support efforts to secure financial reimbursement authorizations.

    QualificationsA demonstrated understanding of the Minnesota Integrated Community Supports and Customized Living Services Regulations, Medical Assistance Program, Adult Foster Care regulations, U.S.

    Department of Housing and Urban Development Section 202/Section 811 Programs, and knowledge of community social service agencies and resources.

    Familiarity with documentation and storage of client data via electronic medical records (e.g., Residex).A minimum of one year of successful office experience and administrative responsibility.

    Ability to prioritize, remain organized, and successful at monitoring/tracking paperwork. Proficiency in MS Word and its applications, and a working knowledge of Excel and its applications. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving, collaboration, and organizational skills.
