Lube Technician Job Description:
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Lube Technician to join our team.

The Lube Technician will primarily be responsible for performing basic maintenance services on vehicles, including oil changes, lubrication, and other minor services.

The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality service.


Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and other basic automotive maintenance tasks.2. Inspect and diagnose minor vehicle issues to assist in determining additional repairs or services needed.3. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all services performed on each vehicle.4. Keep work area clean, organized, and safe, following all company safety guidelines and procedures.5. Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained.6. Communicate effectively with customers to explain services performed and make recommendations for future maintenance needs.7. Assist other technicians in performing more complex repairs as needed.8. Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements to continually improve skills and knowledge.


Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.2. Previous experience as a Lube Technician or similar role is preferred but not required.3. Solid knowledge of basic automotive maintenance and repair techniques.4. Strong mechanical aptitude with good hand-eye coordination.5. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.7. Strong communication and customer service skills.8. Basic computer skills for maintaining records and accessing service manuals.9. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.


Working Conditions:

The Lube Technician will primarily work in a well-ventilated service bay with occasional exposure to loud noises, fumes, and hazardous materials.

The position may require standing, walking, or bending for extended periods and lifting heavy objects or equipment. Work hours may vary, including weekends and holidays, to meet customer demands.
